Balancing Men’s Hormones
To all you men out there: This month’s topic on balancing men’s hormones is just for you! Are you struggling with weight problems like unwanted belly fat, poor muscle tone or even have man boobs? Or maybe you’re struggling with low energy, anxiety or depression? Perhaps you’ve experienced a loss of fertility, prostatitis, and be experiencing difficulty urinating.

If any of this is the case, it’s important to recognize that these, and other male health problems, may involve hormonal imbalance. A general decline in testosterone levels, coupled with the exposure to environmental chemicals with estrogenic activity known as xenoestrogens, may be a significant factor in all of these issues. In this month’s Sunshine Sharing we will explore understanding male hormones, balancing them, discuss a few concerns as well as supplements for support.
Things to Focus on for Promoting Balance
Educate Yourself by reading Dr. Lee’s Book. Dr. Lee has been known for his knowledge on hormone health for both men and women. His book Hormone Balance for Men: What your doctor may not tell you about prostate health and natural hormone supplementation. is very informative.
Protein – Make sure you are eating enough protein at every meal. If you are unsure of how big a serving you should eat, using the size of your palm for a serving size is recommended by many diet experts. You also want to include healthy fats and limit processed carbohydrates.
Exercise ‘is so important, not only for maintaining muscle flexibility and strength, but for helping you manage stress. When you exercise, your body produces the feel good hormones!
Green Tea is very beneficial because it is a great antioxidant. It is also said to promote fat burning, energy, and contains epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which helps our body with insulin.
The Chi Machine – The Original Chi Machine is an amazing product that provides benefits similar to massage promoting relaxation which allows your body to release more feel good hormones, promote movement, and circulation.
